There will be a presentation by Joseph Walsh, a video artist visiting from London. His films play with cinema, often remaking scenes from other people's films and transforming them into something new. It is often himself playing the different characters. He would be pleased to show some of his video work at the Rumah Air Panas, an opportunity to show in his mother's home country. Also as an occasion to meet and encourage discussion. In addition Joseph would like to screen Matthew Barney's "Cremaster 3". A fantastical art film by a New York based artist and is set in the Guggenheim Museum. It has been showing in cinemas and galleries recently, yet has not been widely shown enough. There will also be chocolate brought from England. :)
